QUINTANA
Stacker delivery with pressing unit for folders
The QUINTANA is a stacker delivery entirely governed by a PLC which
automatically forms stacks of sections via an electronic preselector
working directly on the automatic shingle separation device.
This stacker is used to make the most of the production speed of the
folding machine which can produce signatures from 4 to 32 pages.
STACKING UNIT: reduces the limits to pick up sections at the delivery of
the folding machines allowing the operator to work on more machines
simultaneously.
PRESSING UNIT: incorporated in the stacking unit and equipped with n° 4
big pressing rollers with adjustable pressure on n° 4 independent points,
allows the signatures to be perfectly pressed and prevents wrinkles
forming inside them.
Technical features
The machine can supply batches of signatures already counted and perfectly piled both with or without the band.
Predisposition for the automatic banding of batches via the electronic
banding machine.
Jogger of the signatures on n° 4 sides during stacking.
Jogger device able to stack up to n. 3 cut signatures (mod. 540).
Jogger device able to stack up to n. 4 cut signatures (mod. 850).
Ejection device for badly folded sections.
